Are You Afraid Of Death?

"Are you afraid of death?" Death asked me one night,
"No, now can you take me to heaven?" I asked.
"You want your pain to stop. I can help you with that."
"I don' want to live like this anymore. No more."
Death looked at me, and checked my head.
"It is not your time yet. Can't you wait one more night?"
I cried, as he walked through the wall.
All I want is this cancer to stop.
As I lay in my bed, looking up at my ceiling,
I remember all of my memories that still flood my mind.
I'm not afraid of death, as long as I'm alright.
As long as my family is happy that the pain in me is gone.
I'm not afraid of death, but I am afraid of life.
